Inventic was registered as a brand more than 100 years ago – in 1915 – by Fabrique d’Horlogerie Ed. Kummer SA, located in Bettlach, in Switzerland.
Eduard Kummer Bettlach had already been established in 1888. The company was founded by the 43 year old Eduard Kummer and began as a manufacturer of rough movements (ebauches). In the beginning of the century EKB also began to produce finished watches.
Today, the Swiss company is still one of few independent watch brands, producing high quality timepieces with unique design and great value.
Our History
1888
The 43 year old Eduard Kummer establishes “Eduard Kummer Bettlach” aka EKB to manufacture rough movements (ebauches)
1915
Eduard Kummer registers “Inventic” as a brand.
1970
The production of watches under the name Inventic continues until the 70s but unfortunately ceases thereafter.
2022
Inventic launches global new collection for young people of the 21st Century.
